It is said that coconut is full of treasures, so what can pure coconut powder be used for? Today I will share with you some of my experiences and recommendations. Raw Coconut Latte
Friends who have drank coffee must be familiar with raw coconut latte, especially those who often drink Luckin must know its charm better. The rich coffee aroma combined with the mellow coconut milk makes it creamy and smooth in the mouth, sweet but not greasy. In fact, our pure coconut flour can also be used to make raw coconut latte at home. The method is very simple. First, take an appropriate amount of coconut powder (about 2 tablespoons), add milk, and then add an appropriate amount of white sugar (you can add it according to your personal taste. I personally like a sweeter taste, so I will add a little more, about 2 tablespoons of white sugar, 150g or so) Mix well to make coconut milk. Then, brew a cup of coffee with instant coffee powder (of course, if possible, you can also brew it with hand-grinded coffee beans, the taste will be more pure). Note that the coffee here can be hot or cold, but generally I will Love hot drinks. Then add the previously prepared coconut milk to make a cup of raw coconut latte! The taste made at home is no worse than the one in a coffee shop. I recommend you to try it if you are interested. Coconut custard
Compared with prepared coconut milk, pure coconut flour is easier to store and easier to prepare other foods. Coconut milk jelly is very suitable and the making process is very simple. First prepare white jelly, milk powder and coconut powder, take 3 spoons of coconut powder, 2 spoons of milk powder, and two spoons of white jelly (the amount can be adjusted, the proportion of coconut powder is slightly larger than that of milk powder and white jelly), add boiling water to brew (note: Use boiling water (higher temperature can better ensure the dissolution of the powder), stir evenly, and let cool. After reaching room temperature, put the mixture in the refrigerator to refrigerate (refrigerators are prone to bacteria, so it is best to use a sealed container to avoid stomach upset), take it out after about two to three hours, and it is ready to shape. On a hot summer day, a mouthful of cold coconut custard can instantly cool you down. The coconut aroma is rich and the taste is elastic. I believe you will like it. Coconut cake
The same as cocoa powder and matcha powder. Coconut flour can also be used as an ingredient in making cakes. The whole production process is also very simple. First prepare these materials: three medium eggs, 10-12 grams of coconut flour, 1 gram of vanilla extract (optional), 10-20 grams of sugar substitute (you can also use white sugar instead). Then comes the cake making process.
Steps:
① Beat the egg whites with sugar until dry and foamy (note that when beating egg whites, ensure that the container is dry and has no moisture to achieve successful whipping~)
② Mix the egg yolks, coconut flour and vanilla extract, add water and stir until it becomes a paste
③Add the egg yolk paste into the protein paste little by little and mix evenly (make sure to mix thoroughly here)
④Pour the mixed batter into a six-inch mold and bake at 175 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Coconut Jasmine
Coconut powder is most commonly used to make drinks. If you don’t like drinking coffee, you can also try this raw coconut jasmine tea (referred to as coconut jasmine). It’s even simpler. You only need a bottle of jasmine tea (Master Kong's, 3.5 yuan a bottle), mix it with 2 tablespoons of coconut powder, stir well, and if possible, add ice cubes or put it in the refrigerator for a period of time. While the jasmine flowers are full of fragrant tea aroma, you can also taste a faint fresh coconut aroma. It tastes ice cold and cool, quenching thirst without being greasy. I won’t tell the average person this secret recipe, but if you are interested, you can try it! Raw Coconut Oolong Tea
Similar to the previous one Coconut Coconut Jasmine, this one is also a tea drink. The production process is equally simple, you only need a bottle of oolong tea (Suntory is recommended here, if you can brew it yourself), and add an appropriate amount of coconut powder. If you like it sweet, you can also add an appropriate amount of sugar to taste. The taste is also very fresh, with the flavor of oolong and the fragrance of coconut, which is very suitable for summer tea.
The above are some of my personal sharings. There are many ways to use coconut flour, such as making pastries or biscuits, but my favorite is to use it to make jasmine tea, which is sweet and pleasant.
Coconut flour is rich in nutrients and has many health benefits, but of course, if you have another preferred way to use it, that’s even better!
