Winter melon candy is a candy made from winter melon. The method requires peeling the winter melon and cutting it into 13×3×3 cm long strips. Soak in a clam shell ash solution (8 to 10 kilograms of clam shell ash and 50 kilograms of water) for 8 to 10 hours. Take it out, wash it, and soak it in water. Change the water every 2 hours, about 5 times, until the wax gourd is white and transparent. Take it out, boil it in water for 1 hour, drain and set aside.
