I saw three movies recently, Taoist Down the Mountain, Passerby A and monster hunt. When I walked out of the cinema, I felt the same feeling-sadness.
Needless to say, "The Taoist Down the Mountain" was made like that by director Chen Kaige at his age. He was eccentric, condescending to the master, and selling corruption naked. It was all unbearable to look straight at him. It was all embarrassing for Jiang Lang. One year, there were rumors that Farewell My Concubine was actually shot by Chen Kaige's father. A few days later, the entertainment website Focus Map pushed a set of public relations drafts and released the studio photos of Farewell. Chen Kaige personally took charge of the guide tube and reprimanded Fang Qiu in order to overcome the rumors with picture facts. This incident, when I think about it, is particularly sad: a China master director used the studio photos more than ten years ago to prove that his best work was really shot by himself, and the reason is that he never made a good work again. Director Chen, in fact, you shouldn't use a set of set photos to conquer rumors, but you should use a great work to shut everyone up.
The sadness of Passerby A comes from the theme itself. Although it's a pot of chicken soup with excessive monosodium glutamate, it's still a little moving to see those young girls screaming for their dreams.
Last night, I went to see the premiere of monster hunt. I saw the huge Hu Ba doll jumping on the stage with great efforts. I saw the director Xu Chengyi thanking everyone again and again. I thanked Bai Baihe and Boss Jiang for almost crying. I heard the host say that it was difficult to shoot twice, and talked about Qi Xin's concerted efforts.
Finally, after the movie, the people in the stands walked sparsely, with long subtitles, and finally reached the part of the special effects company, where the infield special effects staff were still there, cheering loudly and clapping hard. I don't doubt that some of them were crying from a long distance.
Think about the road this film has traveled. It is absurd and sad. After a film is finished, it will be produced in the post-production, and advertisements will be put in. However, because of an actor's problem, hundreds of thousands of people's efforts will be wasted with him. So, Boss Jiang gritted his teeth, spent a lot of money, filmed it again, and experienced another ups and downs without knowing the future. In the past few days, the release of The Taoist Down the Mountain has put "Catch the Demon" in an awkward position, and most of Fang Zuming's scenes have been kept. Is it ridiculous and redundant to look back at the remake of "monster hunt"? It is said that "monster hunt" will cost more than 1 billion yuan to recover its cost in the coming summer vacation, and it is Pancake Man, which has a good reputation. Can Hu Ba break through in the melee? No one knows what they will face. It's like watching the gorgeous dance of a tragic hero, and watching this movie with indescribable feelings. From a purely cinematic point of view, I give this movie a score of 7. Gorgeous special effects that I haven't seen for a long time, China actors who behave normally in Chinese movies that I haven't seen for a long time, directors who tell stories normally that I haven't seen for a long time, have jokes, cute points, big scenes, action scenes, love and hearty, which is worth the ticket. After the audience in China experienced the baptism of the pure bad film Why Shengxiao Mo in the first half of the year, the conscience film monster hunt can save lives.
Of course, this film also has some unavoidable defects. Apart from some far-fetched plots, it is a bit childish. I often feel that I am watching a children's cartoon and I think there should be children everywhere. The theme of his film is not grand. It seems that there is no core proposition and values, no clear new world has been established, and the theme of "Demons and people are born" has not been fully explained. Many scenes are just for the sake of big scenes. But the flaws don't hide Yu, or I am more tolerant of this film. These flaws don't affect the overall impression.
From the emotional point of view, I gave this film 8 points and added 1 point of sympathy. For the special effects workers who cheered loudly and clapped hard in the venue, the fruits of their efforts finally came to light.
