The Netflix series "Pine Tree Valley" is the story of an intelligence agency that has been monitoring the entire Asia-Pacific region, and the series is based on the new U.S. president's rise to power and various disputes with China, as well as his poor relations with Australia.

Then a huge oil and gas field is discovered near the Pine Valley, and economic cooperation between China and Australia is underway, with the Chinese company Shangguo Group making various investments in the area, and negotiations underway between Australia and China for a $200 billion-a-year gas supply contract.

The U.S. doesn't want China and Australia to be too closely linked and block them from doing so, China wants Australia to remain neutral in the Sino-U.S. dispute and wants a neutrality treaty with Australia, and Australia wants to take advantage of both sides of the issue.

While U.S. and Australian leaders were in Myanmar for the APEC meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Pine Valley's intelligence officers found out that someone had destroyed a small airplane with a man-operated missile with two Hong Kongers, four Americans and seven or eight Southeast Asians on board, and since the location of the destroyed airplane was very close to the place where the U.S. president had collapsed, this was thought to be a terrorist attack against the U.S., and so Pine Valley conducted an all-round investigation.

At the same time, a technician at the Pine Valley base discovered that a virus had infiltrated the Pine Valley's mainframe and was secretly stealing information. Due to the Pine Valley's high level of secrecy, it was impossible for the network to transmit the information in, and it could only have been brought in by the mole, and the base began to secretly conduct an internal review.
