Epididymitis is mostly caused by inflammation of urogenital system infiltrating into epididymis along vas deferens, and can also be infected through lymphatic system and blood system. The common pathogenic bacteria are Staphylococcus and Escherichia coli. The main manifestations are scrotal pain, epididymal swelling, aggravated pain when standing, and scrotal skin swelling on the affected side. Treatment often chooses penicillin intramuscular injection or intravenous drip. If there is no relief, incision and drainage are needed, and physical therapy such as hot compress and infrared radiation is also needed. We need a reasonable treatment plan, and we can't stop taking medicine. Repeated attacks like this can easily lead to orchitis, testicular atrophy, and even tumors.
