Moon cakes and baked goods with half-boiled eggs or meat stuffing in the middle are prohibited unless they are made in Canada. Eggs from all other countries are worrying because they may carry all kinds of avian influenza viruses.

Moon cakes, including egg yolk moon cakes, and any food containing eggs or meat are on CBP's banned list unless they are produced in Canada.

Entry is forbidden, and so is mailing.
