Tools / raw materials: kite paper, bamboo or wood, nylon rope
1, first of all, prepare a good toughness, thin and lightweight paper, 50 centimeters long and 30 centimeters wide. The paper used for making traditional kites is usually cotton paper, rice paper, leather paper and so on.
2, and then fold the paper into a diamond shape, or draw a diamond shape, the excess ground part cut off, so that the paper into a diamond shape. You can see that the bottom of this rhombus (diamond shape) is 15 centimeters, while the top is 35 centimeters.
3. Continue to prepare two strips of wood, one 30 centimeters long and the other 50 centimeters long, stack them to form a cross and tie it with a string, the top of the cross is 15 centimeters high and the bottom is 35 centimeters high.
4. Next, poke two holes in each of the four corners of the cut paper, so that the cross can be fixed to the paper with nylon rope.
5, then prepare two nylon cords, as shown in the picture, tie the ends of one cord to the ends of the short wooden bar, and then tie the end of a slightly longer nylon cord to the center of this nylon cord.
6. Finally, use some flutter tape to tie to both ends of the kite as well as the tail, and when you are ready to fly, attach a very light bundle of string to the end of the nylon rope so that the kite will fly higher and higher!
