The bird-tailed mantis shrimp, scientific name: Odontodactylus scyllarus (cicadas-toothed finger shrimp mayfly).1 Distributed in the tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific Ocean, including the South China Sea and Taiwan waters. Benthic life, often in coral reef crevices, caves, but also live in the gravel or the bottom of the shell. Carnivorous, mainly prey on the bottom of the ocean slow-moving gastropods, bivalves, crustaceans, artificial feeding can be fed fish, shrimp and other animal food.
