(1) Phytosanitary: Banana wilt is an internationally famous quarantine object. Banana seedlings from diseased areas should be strictly controlled for outbound transportation. When diseased plants are found, they should be burned immediately.

(2) Agricultural control:

①Select and plant disease-resistant varieties and disease-free seedlings.

②Strictly control the location of banana nursery sites. Strictly prohibited in the occurrence of epidemic disease near the fruit farm to open banana nursery, the opening of banana secondary nursery must be away from the banana yellow leaf disease occurs outside of the kilometer; it is appropriate to choose a higher terrain, not affected by the flow of irrigation water, there is no record of past yellow leaf disease and other diseases, the surrounding epidemic isolation facilities are perfect site; advocate to the mountainous areas to set up a banana nursery. Sites must undergo strict acceptance by plant inspection agencies before finalization. Severe banana plantations can be rotated with sugarcane for 1 to 2 years.

(3) Pharmaceutical control: after removing diseased plants, apply lime or formalin to disinfect diseased holes and surrounding soil. Spray with 70% thiophanate-methyl ultra-micro wettable powder 1,000 times, or 50% benomyl wettable powder 1,500 times, or 50% mixed sulfur suspension 500 times.

Note: yellow leaf disease tropical type 4 use of information and Panama banana wilt disease is similar, it is not clear the basis for typing. Banana "AIDS" has been reported to do banana "cancer", although the yellow leaf disease on the fungicide resistance, but available biological control has appeared many yellow leaf disease-resistant banana varieties, no need to worry too much.
