Source is the tuber of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Breit. in the family of Southern Star.

The properties and attributes are pungent, warm and poisonous. It enters the spleen and stomach meridians.

Use and dosage 5-9 grams, suitable for preparation, water decoction; or into pills, bulk. Externally: Ground into a powder and applied to the skin.
