1, the ancient town of xitang
One of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, a thousand-year-old town, is one of the birthplaces of ancient Wuyue culture. There are many well-preserved buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties in the ancient town, such as planting blessing hall, Zunwen hall and Xuezhai. Xitang is famous for its many bridges, lanes and corridors, with honest folk customs and melodious sound. In the evening, the sunset is slanting, the fishing boat sings late, the lights are shining and the wine is overflowing. The whole ancient water town is picturesque.
2. Wuzhen Scenic Area
The cross-shaped inland river system divides Wuzhen into East Gate, South Gate, West Gate and North Gate. It completely preserves the style and pattern of the ancient water town in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and is known as "the land of plenty and the house of silk". Watching the night view of Xizha, roaming the water lane by paddle boat and watching folk performances are all good experiences in Wuzhen. If you want to finish the tour in one day, you should arrive in Wuzhen early in the morning, go to Dongzha first, visit Xizha in the afternoon and watch the night scene in Xizha at night.
3. Nanhu Tourist Area
As one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang, it is as famous as the West Lake in Hangzhou and the East Lake in Shaoxing, and has always been famous for its charming scenery of "light smoke blowing in Zhuhai and a breeze coming". It is not only famous for its beautiful scenery, but also an important revolutionary memorial site in modern Chinese history. It is divided into two lakes, east and west. The two lakes are connected in the shape of a mandarin duck crossing the neck. In ancient times, mandarin ducks often lived in the lake, so it is also called Yuanyang Lake. It is open here, and it is free to stroll along the lake, but you need to buy tickets if you want to go to the island in the middle of the lake and visit the scenic spots.
4. Fuyan Temple
Fuyan Temple, Fengming Street, Tongfu Township, Tongxiang City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, was founded in 503, the second year of Nanchaotian Prison. "There are four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties, and there are many terraces in the misty rain". After thousands of years, many temples in the Southern Dynasties that were once full of incense have been preserved very rarely. Among these temples, Fuyan Temple, an ancient temple in the Southern Dynasties with the same name as Lingyin Temple, is famous at home and abroad.
5. Juehai Temple
Juehai Temple is located in the western half of Xiexi Street in Jiaxing City, formerly known as Baozhong Temple. Entering the temple gate, there is the "Heavenly King Hall", which rests on the top of the mountain with double eaves. Now it is dedicated to the mighty four kings of painted sculptures and the wood carving statue of Wei Tuo Tathagata. It is said that in the Yuan Dynasty, an abbot of Juehai Temple traveled to India from South Asia to learn Buddhist scriptures, and four nanmu trees were sent by the Indian Buddhist community. When the King Kong Temple was rebuilt, four nanmu trees were made into four pillars, which was very spectacular.
