1. Clean the bamboo tube, dry it and set aside.
2. Boil the dried rice dumpling leaves and lotus grass in water to disinfect them, then soak them in clean water overnight.
3. Wash the glutinous rice, red beans, peanuts and dried red dates and soak them in water for a day and night.
4. Wash the candied dates, dried cranberries and raisins and set aside.
5. Mix appropriate amount of soaked glutinous rice with red beans and peanuts to make red bean and peanut rice dumplings.
6. Mix an appropriate amount of glutinous rice with red dates to make jujube rice dumplings, mix an appropriate amount of glutinous rice with candied dates to make candied date rice dumplings, and mix an appropriate amount of glutinous rice with dried cranberries and raisins to make assorted rice dumplings.
7. Brush a layer of sesame oil inside the bamboo tube, tie the outside of the bamboo tube tightly with lotus grass, and fill the four kinds of rice dumpling ingredients into the bamboo tube.
8. Seal with rice dumpling leaves and tie tightly with cotton thread.
9. Put half a pot of water in the pressure cooker, put the bamboo tube rice dumplings in, turn on the pressure cooker for an hour, turn off the heat and simmer for a morning.
