Specifically, you can see the following.
White shrimp (white shrimp)
Crustaceans of the genus Exopalaemon, Diptera, Decapoda. Because the shell is thin and transparent, with blue-brown or red spots, the body is white after death. The maximum gross length is no more than 50 ~ 60 mm, and the head and breastplate have gill spikes, antenna spikes but no liver spikes. The frontal angle is well developed and the upper and lower edges are serrated. The base of the upper edge forms a cockscomb-shaped protuberance, and the upper edge of the tapering part at the end has no teeth, but there are often 1 or two extra small teeth near the end, and there are several small teeth at the end of the lower edge. The second lateral nail of the abdomen is covered with 1 and 3 lateral nails, and the 4th ~ 6th segments are tapered backward and short, and the caudal segment is long and narrow with sharp ends. 1 The antenna has three whips (the external whip is attached with a short auxiliary whip). There are two tentacles in the upper jaw. Steps 1 and 2 are all chelates, and the second pair is thicker. The third to fifth stages are claw-like or slender columns.
Six species of white shrimp are known, all of which are distributed in warm water or fresh water in the Indian Ocean-Western Pacific Ocean. Most species live in shallow water near the coast or in salty and fresh water near the estuary, and only a few species (such as beautiful white shrimp) live in rivers and lakes with pure fresh water. Generally, it only moves at the bottom of the sediment, usually crawling slowly with its feet, and also paddling with its swimming feet (abdominal limbs) for short-distance swimming. If attacked, the abdomen will bend strongly immediately and rebound quickly to escape. Omnivorous, feeding on underwater animals, animal scales, plants or organic debris, will eat freely when food is scarce, and individuals who have just molted are often the objects to be eaten. There are four kinds of white shrimp in China, namely, white shrimp with ridged tail, white shrimp with wan tail, white shrimp with angel tail and white shrimp with oriental tail, all of which are important economic shrimps, among which the largest yield is white shrimp with ridged tail, followed by white shrimp with wan tail.
There are 6 species of genus * *, of which 2 species are freshwater, namely beautiful white shrimp and Vietnamese white shrimp. Four species inhabit coastal shallow waters or estuaries with low salinity. Among them, white shrimp with ridged tail is the most important economic species, especially along the coast of Bohai Sea, with the largest output of several thousand tons per year. Oriental White Shrimp is produced in the shallow seas of Japan, South Korea and southeast China, and has been distributed in the shallow seas and low salinity waters of India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Thailand for a long time. White shrimp is a brackish water species in the estuary and can also enter fresh water. Only in China, closer to the Yangtze River estuary. The latter three have important economic value. White shrimp is an important freshwater economic species, distributed in the freshwater waters between Siberia, northern China and southern Taiwan Province Province. White shrimp is produced in Vietnam.
White shrimp can hold eggs continuously during the breeding season, and the larvae hatched for the first time are primitive larvae, which molt several times until the juvenile stage. The eggs of five marine species and estuarine species are yellow (so North China is also called yellow shrimp), and the eggs of freshwater species are light green.
