1. Sharp-toothed fish. The scientific name for the sharp-toothed fish is Anoplogastercornuta. another vampire-looking fish that gives people nightmares. It looks like a monster, but it's actually only six inches long.

2. Pacific Viper. Pacific Viper This fish has jagged needle-like teeth that are too big to close its mouth. Vipers can be up to 8 inches long and they live at depths of 13,000 feet.

3. The barrelli, also known as the scarefish, uses two upward-facing eyes to scan for prey. I wonder why they don't call it a "ghost fish"?

4. Pipefish. The pipefish uses a fleshy growth protruding from the top of its head to attract prey. Another scary fish.

5. Eel. The Cooper's eel is perhaps one of the scariest things you'll ever see in the trenches. The scariest part of its body is the large mouth. The eel's huge mouth allows it to swallow animals much larger than itself.

6. Coffin fish. Not only is the name of this creature, the Coffin Fish, creepy, but its body is covered in small spines and has a long tail at the end. Thank goodness the length of this scary fish is no more than 10 centimeters.
