The launch of the RCCI Nutritional Range - a milestone in Royal Canin's history - separates puppy and adult food and includes high quality food for large breed puppies, as well as high quality food for small breed dogs.

The RCFI cat food nutritional range was launched with the introduction of K34, C32 and S33, which revolutionized cat food products.

1997

Royal's RCCI SIZE series was launched, which was the world's first dog food designed based on the age and lifestyle of the dog, especially the size (small/medium/large dogs). In the same year, Royal Canin launched the RCFI CAT FOOD series, which was also the first cat food in the world to be developed based on the age and physiology of cats.

1998

VET CAT: The world's first cat food developed for neutered male and female cats was launched, and was only available in specialized pet hospitals.

1999

PERSIAN 30, the first cat food for Persian cats, was launched on the market, taking full consideration of the unique jaw structure of Persian cats and using specially designed almond-shaped pellets.

SIZE NUTRITION is a line of products developed according to the size, age and activity level of the dog and introduces a new concept of healthy nutrition.

2001

INDOOR 27 indoor cat food was launched. This product was developed with the cat's lifestyle in mind.

Royal became the first manufacturer in the world to design a dog food for giant breed dogs, and since then SIZE NUTRITION has formed a complete product range.

2002

Mini Yorkshire is launched, the world's first customized food for Yorkies. Royal Canin begins customizing food for purebred dogs.

2003

VET DIET prescription food for dogs and cats was launched, this series has both preventive and curative effects. Available only at veterinary hospitals.

2005

HT42D Light Fertility Bitch Food was launched, specially developed for bitches from heat to 42 days of pregnancy.

2007

Launch of FELINE HEALTH NUTRITION series: This new cat food series was launched according to the different lifestyles of cats, their age and whether they have sensitive intestinal tracts. This series is carefully categorized to meet the different needs of each cat.

2008

Multi-breed dog food tailored for purebred dogs was launched, and breed dog food has formed a complete series.
