2. Cut the hawthorn in half and remove the core.
3. Fill the pitted part of hawthorn with red bean paste.
4. Cover the other half with the bean paste, and eat all the hawthorn in step 3 and step 4 in turn.
5. String the hawthorn stuffed with bean paste one by one with a toothpick.
6. Boil rock sugar water (cold pot, cold water), turn on medium and small fire and stir constantly with a shovel to melt all the rock sugar. Then turn off the heat until it turns into syrup.
7. Put the bundled hawthorn and gourd into sugar water and wrap them in sugar water.
8. Put the hawthorn gourd wrapped in syrup into a plate, sprinkle your favorite nuts or sesame seeds before the syrup solidifies, and eat it after the syrup is completely cooled.
