What is better to sell at a stall?
Recently a lot of people have been doing side jobs, going to set up stalls at night after work, selling anything.

Rainbow candy also intends to go to the scene. For me, I still like to sell food, but it's still a pipe dream at this stage.

What to sell is one of the questions I think about the most, so I went to the night market, I found the three kinds of Teochew snacks I am most interested in, it seems to make a profit is quite good, a look at which three it is!

Chaoshan Gao Kuey Teow

Gao Kuey Teow is also one of the Chaoshan Kuey Teow food, it is processed with white rice paste layer by layer and then steamed, after steaming it will be cut into small pieces, each piece is uniform. It can usually be flavored with other ingredients, such as chicken, pork, pork liver, shrimp, oysters, and so on.

Frying the kuey teow is a skillful job. First, the kuey teow is prepared with fish sauce and soy sauce, then stir-fried over low heat until the kuey teow is reddish in color, then the kuey teow is stir-fried with lard over medium heat until the kuey teow is a little bit "fried" (crispy on the surface), then all the ingredients are put in, drizzled with beaten egg, and added with a variety of other seasoning such as Add other seasonings such as sriracha sauce, chili sauce, and MSG. Finish with a drizzle of sugar.

Gao Kueh and Choi Tau Kueh are two of my brother and I's favorite staple food substitutes, and we usually switch to them when we get bored of eating rice. The other day when I was strolling through the night market, I saw this stall selling kueh kuey teow was particularly hot, I guess everyone was attracted by the aroma of it. The owner specializes in the management of the stall - only selling cake kuey teow, I suggested that the owner can sell vegetable kuey teow (turnip cake), he smiled and said that one person is too busy, and the business is still good, so first only do one kind of kuey teow. The price starts at five dollars for a cake, with seafood and meat added at a separate cost. If you're having a late-night snack, the price is acceptable, but it's only suitable for a person with a small appetite. For a family of three or four, it would cost about 15-20 dollars.

Cake Roasted Sweet Potato Taro

After wandering through the main food stalls and feeling like I wasn't quite full, I made my way to the sweets stall.

Various kinds of sugar water are common, but I don't like to drink too much water on a big night, so I tried to avoid them when I saw green bean sugar water, red bean sugar water, duck mother twist, and bean flower .......

Then smelled the sweet potato and taro ...... too familiar this must be cake roasted sweet potato taro!

Walking closer, it really is. Gao yaki sweet potato taro is a dessert that I particularly liked when I was a child, but now that I'm older, I rarely eat it.

The cake roasted sweet potato taro is a very famous snack in Chaoshan, usually in the last few dishes at the wedding banquet will be able to see its figure.

How is it made? Usually take fresh sweet potatoes and taro, wash them clean, peel them and cut them into small pieces, then put them into the sugar.

Then let them marinate for a while, then fry them in a pot, then add the syrup and cook them over medium-low heat. This makes the cake roasted sweet potato taro glutinous with a little toughness!

Licorice Fruit

I finally felt full and next I went to the fruit stall. The most famous fruit in Chaoshan is licorice fruit hahahahaha, just kidding.

Licorice fruit is actually a kind of pickled fruit, I remember my family used to have a lot of salt pickled plums, lemons, prunes, olives ...... those pickled with salt, usually can not be used directly to eat, it is used with porridge or soak water to drink. Licorice fruits, on the other hand, are pickled with licorice juice and can be eaten directly because licorice can bring out the flavor of the fruit itself, making the plain fruit more fresh and sweet and delicious. And licorice can also help quench thirst and promote digestion.

My favorite licorice fruit is the licorice mango, the green mango in the licorice juice "catalyzed" became particularly easy to eat, but also maintains the crunch of the green time. My brother's favorite is licorice plums, which are also sweet and sour with a crunch.

The above three are my favorite three kinds of Chaoshan snacks in the night market, what kind of snacks do you like to eat in the night market, and share with the rainbow candy!
