Steps
1. Materials:
Dough part:
High flour: 250g eggs: 30g (I saved one egg for brushing the skin and used the rest)
Water: 130g milk powder: 1 tablespoon dry yeast: 4g (I used 1 and 1/4 tsp)
Sugar: 40g Salt: 1/2 tsp Butter 20g
2. Melt the yeast into the warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
3. Pour the ingredients except butter into a basin, mix evenly, pour in fermented water, and knead into dough. This recipe is sticky, so it is easier to handle with the rolling and kneading method.
4. Add butter and knead until the film can be pulled out, then put it in a basin and cover it with plastic wrap for the first fermentation.
5. Use the fermentation time to make coconut filling. Ingredients: 50 grams of butter, 50 grams of sugar, whole egg liquid: 50 grams of shredded coconut: 100 grams of milk: 50 grams.
6. Method: Soften the butter at room temperature first, then beat it evenly with a whisk.< /p>
7. Add sugar and continue to stir until even.
8. Add the whole egg liquid in portions and stir again.
9. Add grated coconut and add milk. Mix well and let it stand for use.
10. After it has doubled in size, take out the air, divide it into rounds, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
11. Flatten the relaxed dough. Wrap in coconut filling (you can see that my coconut filling is very thin).
12. Then turn the interface downward and roll it into an oval shape.
13. Fold the dough in half. Then make three cuts in the middle, stretch it, twist it and tie it. (I originally wanted to make it like Sister Liberty, but the filling was too thin and I couldn't make it, so it ended up like this).
14. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and set the middle rack for 15 minutes. Because my filling was too thin and the butter seeped out, it took about 20 minutes to bake, and there was a sizzling sound while baking. I thought it was going to fail, but I didn’t expect that it turned out OK and tasted good, with a strong coconut aroma
