Zongzi is the traditional festival food with the deepest cultural accumulation in the history of China. It not only has special holiday significance, but also has high nutritional value. In addition, as Zongzi is a comprehensive food made of staple food and non-staple food, it is also rich in nutrients. The main raw material of zongzi is glutinous rice. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, glutinous rice is sweet and warm, and has the effects of strengthening the spleen and warming the stomach, tonifying the middle energizer and benefiting qi. Glutinous rice contains high-quality starch, B vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, cellulose and other nutrients. While glutinous rice contains less protein, lacks vitamin A and has higher calcium content, but it is not easily absorbed by human body. Therefore, wrapping glutinous rice with various fillings is actually a way to avoid malnutrition. Common zongzi fillings include red dates, peanuts, bean paste, egg yolk, pork belly and so on. And the nutritional value of various fillings is not the same. Jujube stuffing can provide a lot of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin P, calcium, iron and so on. Supplementing vitamins lacking in glutinous rice and helping the absorption and utilization of calcium and other substances in glutinous rice. Peanut stuffing contains protein, B vitamins and vitamin E, which can supplement the deficiency of protein in glutinous rice. The bean paste stuffing itself has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, diuresis and detoxification. In fact, the salted egg yolk added to the salted rice dumplings is not only delicious, but also rich in protein, phospholipids, vitamins, calcium, potassium and iron. Even zongzi leaves are rich in chlorophyll, amino acids, vitamins A and C, polyphenols and potassium. After the glutinous rice wrapped in zongzi leaves and the wrapped stuffing are cooked at high temperature, the zongzi will emit a natural fragrance, and the nutrients in the zongzi will fully soak into the zongzi. Generally speaking, Zongzi is natural and healthy, and it is a very particular and unique traditional food.

1, avoid eating jiaozi undercooked. We don't want to wrap it too big, otherwise it will be difficult to cook it. Zongzi must be completely cooked before eating, otherwise it will be harmful to your health.
2. Avoid keeping the wrapped jiaozi for too long. Better eat them as soon as possible. It should not be kept for too long. It can only be stored for 3-4 days at most, and then heated when eating. In addition, the place where you put zongzi should always be kept clean.
3, avoid eating a lot of glutinous rice dumplings, and glutinous rice is not easy to digest, so people who have or have had gastrointestinal diseases should not eat more. In addition, children and the elderly have poor digestive function, so we should refrain from eating zongzi and try to eat it while it is hot, so it is not more difficult to digest it after it is cold.
4, should not eat jiaozi on an empty stomach. If you eat jiaozi on an empty stomach, glutinous rice will stay in your stomach for a long time, which will stimulate gastric acid secretion and lead to the recurrence of chronic gastritis and esophagitis.
It is not advisable to eat jiaozi just taken out of the refrigerator without eating cold and hard jiaozi! Some people like to put zongzi in the refrigerator for a while before eating. But such zongzi is hard and cold, which is undoubtedly worse for patients with stomach diseases. Therefore, for frozen zongzi, it is best to fully heat and soften before eating.
6. Don't drink cold drinks when eating zongzi. It is not advisable to drink cold drinks when eating zongzi. Because cold drinks are easy to solidify glutinous rice, which is not conducive to digestion and makes people feel stagflation.
