Antigastric acid secretion drugs mainly include histamine H2 receptor antagonists and proton pump inhibitors.
1) histamine H2 receptor antagonist: histamine H2 receptor antagonist selectively competes for H2 receptor, thus reducing the production of cAMP and gastric acid secretion in parietal cells, so it is effective in treating peptic ulcer. 2) Proton pump inhibitor: The last step of gastric acid secretion is that parietal cells secrete proton pumps in the membrane to drive cells to exchange H+ with K+ in tubules, that is, H+, K+-ETP enzymes. Proton pump inhibitors can significantly reduce acid secretion caused by any stimulus.
