1. Put the peeled raw chestnuts in boiling water and blanch them for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and put them in cold water to cool down so that the color of the chestnuts does not change.
2. Peeling method: Boiling in salt water: Use a knife to cut a slit in the middle of the chestnut, put it in salt water, cook on the stove for 5 minutes, and remove the shell and skin of the chestnut while it is hot.
3. Hot water soaking method: Wash the raw chestnuts and put them into a container, add a little salt, submerge them in boiling water, and cover the pot.
After 4.5 minutes, take out the chestnuts and cut and peel them.
5. Incision soaking method: Cut the chestnuts in half, remove the shell, cover with boiling water and soak for 5 minutes.
