synopsis
Jeremy (Jude Law) runs a small coffee shop in new york. I don't know from that day on, whenever night falls, a girl named Elizabeth (norah jones) will come to the store and ask for a blueberry pie. The girl always sits alone and stares out of the window. The girl came more often, and the two became familiar and became friends.
Elizabeth told her story. Before the man she loved left her, she couldn't imagine how she would live without him.
That night, it's closing time again. Elizabeth is the only customer in the store. She leans against the bar, her eyes are wide open, and her lips are stained with blueberry pie's milk and oil stains. Jeremy, who was cleaning the bar, stared at her, bent down slowly and secretly gave her a kiss. When his head blew, the cream on her lips disappeared.
After that night, Elizabeth disappeared. She left the bustling new york and embarked on a journey to find true love, including new york, Memphis, Las Vegas and Nevada. During the long journey, she searched for the most delicious blueberry pie in famous restaurants in different cities. She met all kinds of people, and everyone was more or less faced with difficulties in life or emotion. In the process of searching, Elizabeth clearly felt her heart. Finally, she set foot on the legendary route 66 and arrived in Los Angeles, California. The end of a journey became the starting point of another relationship.
