1, cutting time
Liriodendron can be cut from April to June every year, when the temperature gradually returns to the temperature.
Step 2 prepare the soil
Prepare some river sand, clean it, add some perlite and mix it evenly as culture soil.
Step 3 choose cutting
On Liriodendron plants with good growth, it is best to choose branches that grow for 1-2 years, and strong branches without sprouting. Cut off 15-25cm with sterilized scissors, and cut off the leaves of the branches, leaving only the top 1-2 tender leaves. Treat the bottom of the branch at an oblique angle of 45 degrees, soak it in rooting water solution for about 30 minutes, take it out and put it in the shade to dry.
Step 4 cut
Prepare a suitable flowerpot with ceramic tiles at the bottom and filled with culture soil. Insert the branches of Liriodendron chinense into the culture soil, accounting for about 1/2 or 2/3 of the branches, and place them in a weak indoor light for maintenance. During the period, the temperature is controlled at 20-25℃, and water is sprayed regularly, once a day in sunny days, and it can take root and survive in 30-45 days.
