1. Anchovies are tropical freshwater fish, and the suitable water temperature is 24-28 degrees Celsius. Before hatching anchovy eggs, ensure that the water quality is clean, the PH value is stable, and provide suitable environment such as aquatic plants.
2. When incubating anchovy eggs, you can choose to use an incubator or an incubation net. It usually takes about 5-7 days to hatch anchovy eggs in incubators or hatcheries to keep the water temperature constant.
3. After the larvae hatch, transfer them to a shallow water tank or a nursery box. The water depth should be moderate, which is convenient for larvae to swim and eat. At the same time, we should keep the water clean, change some water regularly and keep enough oxygen.
4. When larvae hatch, they can only eat plankton, such as zooplankton and phytoplankton. Larvae can be eaten with special larval feed or self-made plankton feed.
5. With the growth of larval fish, it gradually turns into small pellet feed. Granular feed suitable for anchovy larvae can be selected to ensure that there is enough feed to meet the nutritional needs of anchovy larvae.
6. Check the water quality regularly and make necessary adjustments. Keep the water temperature stable, the pH value appropriate, and the content of harmful substances such as nitrate and ammonia nitrogen low.
7. With the growth of anchovies, gradually replace the appropriate fish tank according to its size. Provide enough shelter and swimming space to ensure the comfortable life of anchovies.
