I was bitten by a centipede at home. What should I do?
Under normal circumstances, centipedes don't attack people for no reason. We often put centipedes on the back of their hands and don't bite them. When centipedes feel threatened, such as being pinched, suddenly passive, and stepping on their tails and feet, they will bite objects that pose a threat to themselves. When the centipede pierces its jaw into human tissue, it will start injecting venom, and it will not finish injecting venom instantly. If the bitten person doesn't get rid of the centipede in time, they will continue to inject venom. Will do more harm. After the venom is injected into human tissue, the injured part will bleed rapidly, become red and swollen, and have severe pain, and typical local reactions such as "red lines" appear in circles. If the centipede is not treated in time or injected with too much venom, it will have headache, dizziness, chills, nausea, vomiting, fever and even shock, but generally it will not be life-threatening. (2) Treatment measures (1) Squeeze the bitten part immediately, from the periphery of the wound to the center of the wound during squeezing, then aim at the bitten part with your mouth to suck out the venom, and then spit it out to discharge the venom. (2) After pressing, the wound should be coated with drugs that are easy to get around. Commonly used drugs are: ① Mash cigarette shreds and smear the wound with vegetable oil. ② Peel off garlic cloves, cut them off, and rub the wound with the cross section. ③ Apply live earthworm directly to the wound, so that the mucus on the skin can be applied to the wound, or tear off the earthworm, squeeze out the internal organs in the digestive tract, and directly wipe the wound with the cross section, so that the body fluid of earthworm can be applied to the wound. (4) "Drag" the live snail out of the shell, and directly wipe the wound with its body surface, so that its body surface mucus can be coated on the wound. ⑤ Use mulberry juice, mix a little salt and apply it to the wound. ⑥ Apply the juice of Rhus chinensis directly on the wound. ⑦ Apply toilet water, cool oil or ammonia water directly to the wound. 8 Apply egg white liquid to the wound. After the initial treatment of the wound, for safety reasons, it is best to go to the hospital for further treatment and treatment. Even if centipede bites are treated with the above methods, some of them will not get well immediately, and it will take about a week to recover.
