1. Jingzhou fish cake

Jingzhou fish cake is a specialty of Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, and a national geographical indication product of China.

Jingzhou has been rich in fish since ancient times. Fish cake is one of the eight famous dishes in Jingzhou and has a long history. It is said that it was created by Yuying, the concubine of Emperor Shun. It was widely spread in Jingchu area and became the first dish in the Chu palace during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
