Basic Requirements for Hong Kong Talent Scheme:

Age: 18 years old or above;

2. People with working experience in famous enterprises

Applicants with background in famous enterprises have high degree of personal professionalism, and the Immigration Department will be more favorable to applicants with working background in famous enterprises in the vetting process.

In the policy adjustment of Hong Kong Talents 2023, there is a new scoring item for "famous enterprises": if the applicant has no less than three years of work experience in multinational corporations or famous enterprises equivalent to the degree level or expert level, he/she will be able to add an additional 20 points.

Renowned companies include:

listed companies;

companies listed in the Forbes Global 2000;

Fortune 500 companies;

Hurun Report China 500 companies.

3. Those who graduated from top 100 schools

If you graduated from one of the top 100 schools in the world, you can add an extra 30 points. With the same education level, applicants who graduated from prestigious schools have 30 more points than those who graduated from non-prestigious schools, greatly widening the score gap. If your academic specialization and job match each other, it's even more icing on the cake.

The list of global university rankings recognized by the Hong Kong Immigration Department are: ARWU, Times, USNews, QS.

4. People with Master's Degree

40 points for PhD/Double Master's Degree > 20 points for Master's Degree/Double Bachelor's Degree > 10 points for Bachelor's Degree

In the data of previous years' approvals, Master's Degree/Double Bachelor's Degree applicants are dominating the field.

5. Those who are engaged in popular/critical industries in Hong Kong

Hong Kong hopes to attract highly skilled people to come to Hong Kong for development and to improve the overall strength of Hong Kong. If applicants are engaged in popular/critical shortage/emerging industries in Hong Kong, the approval rate is certainly high.

Otherwise, people working as general teachers, sales, operations, and preparers are hard to get approved, have little competitive advantage, and have almost no chance of getting approved.

6, people who meet the Hong Kong talent list

Hong Kong has developed a list of 13 talents, if you meet the requirements of any one of the list of talents, then the approval rate can be said to be almost 100%!

7, people with senior management experience
