Clinical application 1. Used for chronic cough and asthma.

Schisandra chinensis can astringe lung qi and nourish kidney yin, and relieve cough and asthma caused by deficiency of lung and kidney. It is often used with Radix Codonopsis, Radix Ophiopogonis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata and Cornus officinalis.

2. Used for symptoms such as thirst, physical weakness and hyperhidrosis.

This product has the effects of promoting fluid production, quenching thirst, astringing and stopping sweating. It is often used with Ophiopogon japonicus, Radix Rehmanniae and Trichosanthis Radix to treat fluid deficiency and thirst. It can be used together with Radix Codonopsis, Radix Ophiopogonis, wheat flour, and Concha Ostreae to treat body asthenia and hyperhidrosis, regardless of spontaneous sweating due to yang deficiency or night sweats due to yin deficiency.

3. Used for symptoms such as fine slippery, frequent micturition and persistent diarrhea.

For symptoms such as cough, dyspnea, and thin phlegm caused by exogenous wind-cold, this product can be combined with dried ginger and asarum which warm lung and dispel cold, on the one hand, it can prevent excessive dissipation of lung qi, on the other hand, it can inhibit pathogenic factors.
