Jinjunmei belongs to black tea, which is a branch of Wuyishan Zhengshan Xiaojiao, originating from Tongmu Village, Wuyishan City, Fujian Province. It is a new variety of black tea developed by Jiang Yuanxun, the twenty-fourth generation inheritor of Zhengshan Xiaojiao black tea, in 2005.
