Living.
Na Young, the prototype of 'Hope', is still alive, and according to a professor who had helped Na Young's family "Na Young was finally able to remove her defecation bag and live like a normal person after two very painful surgeries, and her mental condition has turned around and she basically doesn't need any more treatment."
And in 2017, Nayoung, like all normal children, walked into the entrance examination room as she wished, "Nayoung did not get discouraged and completed the examination successfully, which made me feel very relieved." And Na-young wants to go to medical school as a way to help victims like her.
Film evaluation
The film portrays characters who are very grounded, and there are many emotional tear-jerking scenes, but it doesn't give people the feeling that it's over-exerting itself, but rather everything is handled in a very logical way, and because it shows the lives of ordinary people, the style is simple and sincere, and it's warm and touching.
"Hope" is unique in that it doesn't focus on the police solving the case or restoring the twisted crime process, but instead focuses on the emotional impact, the pressure and indifference from all sides, as well as the process of finally coming out of the shadows and welcoming a new life together. It is precisely because the movie truly reproduces the difficult emotional journey of the family of criminal victims that the movie can powerfully poke the audience's tears.
