1. About fry: At present, lobsters can also be called crayfish or Japanese lobsters. They are the same species and there is no "hybrid". Due to the high cost, natural fry are abundant and cheap at present, and artificial fry are still in the laboratory stage; In addition, don't mistake it for a domesticated new species, killing each other less and buying foreign lobster varieties at a high price.
Many people think that as long as they grow lobsters every year, they will get good returns every year through their own continuous reproduction. In fact, the annual output of lobster farming will decrease year by year. Because the life cycle of lobster is 16- 18 months, plus inbreeding, function degradation and disease resistance decline, the yield will drop sharply or even completely after 3 years.
2. About water quality: Some people think that lobsters can grow well in sewers. Actually, not all good water and bad water can be raised. Freshwater quality is the key to high yield of lobster culture. The coverage rate of aquatic plants in the pond is required to be 30%-60%. The water transparency is about 30cm, and the dissolved oxygen is more than 5mg/L. Change the water regularly, and keep the water level above 80cm in hot season.
3. About feed: Lobster is an omnivorous animal feed. Its growth depends on protein's intake. Fresh small miscellaneous fish and snails can be used as the main ingredients, supplemented by plant feed, and compound feed with protein content of not less than 32% can also be fed. Rotten animal and plant feed is not suitable for feeding because of its low utilization rate and easy deterioration of water quality.
4. About disease control: Some people think that "lobsters will not get sick", but it is not. After high-density culture, various environmental factors are easy to cause lobster disease. The solution is mainly to prevent and use drugs regularly. During the breeding process, the water body should be disinfected regularly. If the pH value of the water body is less than 7, the quicklime should be made into slurry at the concentration of 20g/m3 every 15-20 days, and then sprayed evenly. Generally, the pond is disinfected with chloride once every 15-20 days, and the molting growth promoter is added to the feed every half month for 3 days.
5. About polyculture: Many people think that lobster can be polyculture with fish to make rational use of space and improve aquaculture efficiency. In fact, lobsters should never be mixed with carnivorous or omnivorous aquatic products. Because lobsters are easy to be eaten by leftovers after shelling, and silver carp and bighead carp are their natural enemies when they give birth, so polyculture is not recommended.
6. About management: Some farmers think that lobster is omnivorous and can be fed casually. So some people don't feed in the intensive lobster pond, which leads to lobsters killing each other; Or excessive feeding of animal viscera causes organic matter fermentation, water stinks, produces toxic gas, and lacks oxygen, leading to culture failure.
7. About the yield per mu "The yield per mu of lobster is closely related to stocking density, breeding environment, feeding amount and disease control. Lobsters grow very fast. Usually it can be sold in 50-70 days. May-June is the peak season for sales. After the end of June, mating, spawning and burrowing began, and the catch dropped sharply. Therefore, the output of lobster culture exceeds 1000 kg, and the benefit is tens of thousands. For example, the rumor of the Dragon King "8 1 1" is really incredible. Generally speaking, the yield of lobster culture is about 250-450 kg per mu, and the output value is 1500-2500 yuan.
