In our daily work, we often use Word to make some questionnaires. In the sample table of the questionnaire, we often need to tick such special symbols in the box of the check box.
Although the symbols of "tick in the box" or "cross in the box" seem simple and unremarkable, they really need to be made in Word. If you don't know the method, you won't be able to make them for a while.
Method 1: sogou pinyin input method
1. Use Sogou Pinyin Input Method to input Pinyin "dui" and select "√" in the options.
2. Select the √ you just entered, open the Start tab, and then click the circled characters in the font command group.
3. Open the dialogue window of "Circle People":
(1) "Style": You can choose "Reduce Text" or "Increase Circle Number";
(2) Number of laps: select □;
(3) Click "OK" button.
This makes a "√" with a box.
5. Note:
(1) You can adjust the font size of circled characters to achieve better display effect;
(2) It is recommended to use fonts such as "Song Style" and "Imitation Song Style", and the finished product is better than "Microsoft Yahei".
Method 2: Insert special characters
1. Open the Insert tab, click the Symbol drop-down menu button in the Symbol command group, and then select another symbol.
2. Open the dialogue window of "Symbol":
(1) "Font": "Wingdings "or" Wingdings 2 ";;
(2) Select the required symbol and click "Insert";
(3) Close the "Symbol" dialog window after completion.
3. In this way, a √ with a box is made.
4. Note:
(1) The disadvantage of this method is that the font "Wingdings" or "Wingdings 2" must be installed in the computer.
(2) The difference between "Wingdings" and "Wingdings 2" lies in the font.
