Logistics education
This food festival integrates the concept of food education into every link. The whole process attracts students to participate in the organization and implementation of the food festival. Student volunteers will speak for the campus food at the food festival and tell the story behind the food. The first "Shanghai University Logistics Labor Education Practice Base (Service and Education Demonstration Post)" will be officially unveiled and put into operation during this food festival. The base is located on the second floor of the newly-built first canteen in Xuhui Campus of East China University of Science and Technology. The school provides students with an interactive activity space of nearly 150 square meters, and carefully designs labor education courses and interactive projects in the canteen. Professional teachers lead students to participate in practice, improve students' labor literacy and establish a correct view of labor.
Going green and environmental protection
In order to advocate the concept of green living and consumption, all papers are made of environmentally-friendly recycled materials, and the booths and exhibition boards arranged on site will be recycled after the event. Disposable tableware is not provided in the food festival, and the booth design with the theme of green future and green health provides a conceptual tableware experience, which makes the participating teachers and students pay attention to the waste and pollution of disposable tableware. At the same time, this food festival uses the lighting ceremony of artificial bicycles to advocate a low-carbon lifestyle. During the activity, all delicious foods are provided in limited quantities to guide students to stop wasting and consciously respond to the "CD Action".

Since 20 10, colleges and universities in this city have continuously carried out the "six t" (daily treatment, daily integration, daily cleaning, daily standardization, daily inspection and daily improvement) canteen selection activities. By the end of the year, 305 canteens have been rated as "Six T" standard canteens (including 48 "Six T" demonstration canteens), accounting for about 80% of the total number of university student canteens in the city.
Targeted poverty alleviation
Relying on the "agricultural-school docking" platform, the logistics system of Shanghai universities has established a direct supply model of agricultural products in school canteens in poor areas, focusing on promoting "entering Shanghai by dish" and "Kashgar agricultural products entering the campus". Colleges and universities in the city set up special windows for poverty alleviation vegetables, introduced 22 varieties of vegetables from Daozhen County, Zunyi, Guizhou Province, and introduced 34 kinds of agricultural products from Kashgar. In this food festival, we specially set up an interactive session of poverty alleviation dishes.
Healthy catering
This year's food festival set up a "green future green health theme booth". The participating units specially produced green, healthy and nutritious creative meals, including fried pomfret in apple puree rich in unsaturated fatty acids and trace elements; Cheese with sufficient cellulose and vitamin C, vegetables with five-color rice; Explosicum blueberry fruit with ice skin is composed of healthy ingredients such as blueberry rich in anthocyanins and oat with low calorie. The nutrition ratio table of calories, protein and fat content of each dish is calculated and marked by nutritionists, so that everyone can pay attention to nutrition and health while paying attention to the taste.
