London (London), is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (referred to as the United Kingdom), the capital, but also one of the world's largest financial centers, and New York and Hong Kong and known as the "Nuremberg".

London is the political, economic, cultural and financial center of the United Kingdom and a world-famous tourist destination, with a large number of attractions and museums. London is a diverse metropolis with residents from all over the world, a melting pot of races, religions and cultures, with more than 300 languages spoken, and a model of globalization.

London has a temperate oceanic climate, influenced by the warm North Atlantic Current and westerly winds, with a small difference in temperature between the four seasons, cool summers, warm winters, humid air, rain and fog, especially in the fall and winter.

Temperatures in London are around 18°C in the summer, sometimes reaching 30°C or higher. In spring and fall, temperatures stay around 15°C. In winter, temperatures fluctuate between 15°C and 30°C. And in winter, temperatures fluctuate around 6°C. There are rare instances of ice in London during the winter months.

The Greater London metropolitan area is the most populous metropolitan area in Europe. The City of London has a population of around 7.65 million (2016) and a population density of 4,761 people per square kilometer. The Greater London metropolitan area, on the other hand, has a population of 8.28 million (2016).

Londoners generally give a handshake when they first meet each other. Londoners are very uncomfortable with people interfering with their personal lives. Gentlemen take off their hats when they enter a room, while ladies do not have to do so indoors. Respect for women is an important aspect of gentlemanly behavior in London.

The traditional festivals in London include Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving, as well as specialty festivals such as BANK HOLIDAY, the day of the royal proclamation, and the Queen's birthday.

According to the 2016 census, London is the most ethnically diverse city in the UK, with around 71% white, 10% of Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani descent, 5% of black African descent, 5% of black Caribbean descent, 3% of mixed ethnicity, and around 1% Chinese.58.2% of the population is Christian, while 15.8% has no religion The population of London is also very diverse, with about 21.8% of the population of London being Christian. Around 21.8% of Londoners were born outside the EU.

London is the political center of the country and is home to the British crown, government, parliament, and the headquarters of the political parties. The Palace of Westminster is the venue for the Upper and Lower Houses of the British Parliament, so it is also known as the Hall of Parliament. Parliament Square south of Westminster Abbey, built in 1065 has been the British king or queen coronation and members of the royal family held a wedding place.

Buckingham Palace is the royal palace of the United Kingdom, located in the central area of West London, east of St. James's Park, west of Hyde Park, is a member of the British royal family to live and work in the place, but also the United Kingdom's major state activities.

Whitehall is the seat of the British government agencies, the Prime Minister's Office, the Privy Council, the Home Office, the Foreign Office, the Treasury, the Ministry of Defense and other major government agencies are located in the place. The centerpiece of Whitehall is the Prime Minister's House at 10 Downing Street, which has been the official residence of successive British prime ministers.

London is not only the political center of the United Kingdom, it is also home to the headquarters of many international organizations, including the International Maritime Organization, the International Cooperative Alliance, International PEN, the International Alliance of Women, Socialist International, and Amnesty International.
