Why is 'Pizza Hut' called 'Pizza Hut'?

Hong Kong, China

The first Pizza Hut in Hong Kong, China opened in 1981, and the first delivery store opened in 1992. In 1987, the operating rights of Pizza Hut in Hong Kong were owned by the Jardine Matheson Group.

Taiwan

Pizza Hut opened its first "Yum Hut" on Nanjing East Road in 1986. In 1990, Yum Hut was acquired the operating rights by Jardine and changed its name to "Pizza Hut" only had 5 stores at that time.

China
