Some people think it's a plant, but it's not really hairy belly. It's made of konjac. Amorphophallus konjac is rich in vitamins, plant fiber and mucin. However, although vegetarian belly tastes good, it is better to eat less, because this meat-like vegetarian diet will add some additives in the production process.
The origin of real hairy belly
The real hairy belly is the rumen of cattle. Cattle are ruminants and have four stomachs. The first three stomachs are esophageal variations, namely rumen (hairy belly), reticular stomach (honeycomb stomach), valved stomach (double-valved stomach, louver), and the last one is abomasum. Except one abomasum is the digestive organ of cattle, the other three stomachs with auxiliary functions are all used for cooking. According to their respective characteristics, these three kinds of stomachs are called tripe, hairy tripe and tripe.
