1. Basic postpartum care
It's impossible to get back to being relaxed immediately after giving birth. You will always have problems and discomforts of one kind or another. As long as you are properly cared for, you can recover quickly and let yourself enjoy the happiness and sweetness of being a mother.
Some parturients feel very strange, why do they still feel intermittent abdominal pain after delivery? Moreover, when you have abdominal pain, you can feel a hard "pimple" in your abdomen. This hard "pimple" is actually the uterus. When the uterus contracts, the parturient feels abdominal pain. The general parturient can't feel this kind of postpartum uterine contraction pain, that is, postpartum pain, but some parturients, especially emergency parturient and multipara, still feel intermittent abdominal pain. The pain is more obvious during breastfeeding, and sometimes it is unbearable. When it is painful, it is often accompanied by an increase in lochia discharge.
Postpartum pain is more common in women with multiple births and short delivery process, and postpartum pain is also more obvious in women who choose cesarean section. The more the number of births, the heavier the postpartum pain, which may be because of multiple pregnancies, the elastic fiber smooth muscle components in uterine muscles decrease and the connective tissue increases, resulting in abnormal contractility of uterine muscles. However, the acute labor may be caused by ischemia and hypoxia of uterine muscle layer caused by excessive uterine contraction. The parturient who underwent cesarean section directly without going through the labor process is more sensitive to this kind of postpartum uterine contraction pain. When breastfeeding, the baby's sucking stimulation can reflexively cause uterine contraction, making postpartum pain more obvious.
Postpartum pain usually appears in 2 ~ 3 days after delivery, and disappears automatically for 2 ~ 3 days without special treatment. If the pain is unbearable, you can apply hot compress to your small abdomen or take painkillers to relieve the pain. In addition, drinking brown sugar water, yellow wine and canned hawthorn can also be effective. In addition, due to the oppression of presentation and the operation of midwifery during delivery, mild congestion and edema often occur in the perineum, or there are lacerations or lateral cuts in the perineum. The perineum is easily polluted by urine, stool and lochia because of its anatomical characteristics. If you don't pay attention to cleanliness, it will easily cause puerperal infection and affect the maternal health, so the nursing of perineum is very important.
After delivery, you can rinse the perineum with1:5000 potassium permanganate solution or 0. 1% bromogeramine, 2 ~ 3 times a day or after defecation, and try to keep the perineum clean and dry. If there is suture in perineum, check whether there is redness, induration and secretion around the wound every day. Take out stitches 3 ~ 5 days after delivery. If the wound is infected, the suture should be removed as soon as possible, the wound should be changed every day, and the wound should be exposed by infrared rays to keep the surface dry and promote healing. If the perineum is swollen, 50% magnesium sulfate or 75% alcohol can be used for warm compress. When lying down, you should lie on the opposite side of the wound to avoid lochia flowing to the wound and increase the chance of infection. It takes about 2 weeks for the perineal wound to heal completely, and then it can be scrubbed once a day. Postpartum menstrual pads should be disinfected with sanitary napkins or other sanitary articles. Sanitary utensils and underwear should be washed frequently and changed frequently. After washing, they should be exposed to the sun to achieve the purpose of disinfection and sterilization.
Also, after pregnancy and childbirth, the ligaments that maintain the normal position of the uterus also become loose, and the position of the uterus can change with the change of body position. If you often take the supine position after delivery, you may leave the uterus backward and have symptoms such as waist and knee pain and discomfort in the lumbosacral region. Therefore, in order to keep the uterus in a normal position, the "uterine recovery movement" should be carried out.
After delivery, it is feasible to lie prone in the morning and evening (but be careful not to squeeze the breast), and the time of lying prone is about 20 ~ 30 minutes each time. Usually, you can take a lateral position, and the supine time should not be too long. From 10 day after delivery, do a chest and knee decubitus position in the morning and evening, each time lasting about10 ~15 minutes. The posture of chest and knees should be correct. The chest is close to the bed, and the hips are raised as much as possible, and the knee joint is at a 90 angle. Pay attention to high blood pressure, heart disease and it is not easy to lie down on the chest and knees after meals.
Postpartum care should be patient. Be more careful. If you have any questions, you can consult an obstetrician, who will give you the correct answer and guide you to do a good job in postpartum care.
2. Three old sayings that you can forget
When "confinement", the elders at home will give you a lot of advice based on their own experience. Some advice is of great benefit to you, but some advice has no scientific basis at all. If you listen to these statements, your health will not be protected, but may be hurt.
Here are three statements you should forget:
(1) The lying-in woman is afraid to cover herself when she sees the wind. Your mother or mother-in-law may tell you that confinement is to "cover the moon" and never see the wind. Seeing the wind will leave sequelae and what will happen in the future. Even in the hot summer, the pregnant women who listened to this statement had to close the doors and windows, wear thick clothes and hats, which was extremely uncomfortable. Postpartum is inherently sweaty, and such a "cover" can easily cause postpartum heatstroke and collapse, which is equivalent to "adding fuel to the fire" for women who are prone to sweating.
How to care for postpartum sweating?
First of all, the indoor temperature should not be too high, and the windows should be properly ventilated to keep the indoor air circulating and fresh.
Secondly, the maternity should wear a cover properly, not too much, and the quilt should not be too thick. Dry with a towel whenever you sweat. If possible, take a shower every night. If not, you can scrub with warm water every night. But be careful not to catch cold, and the underwear of lying-in women should be replaced in time.
(2) "confinement" means not getting out of bed. Some old people think that the so-called "confinement" means lying in bed for a month, even eating and washing your face. In fact, this statement is not conducive to maternal and child health care. Confinement is the stage of gradual recovery of reproductive organs, so it is necessary to combine static and dynamic activities, and exercise properly under the condition of adequate rest. The doctor pointed out that normal parturient women who had a smooth delivery and postpartum usually had fatigue on the first day after delivery, so they should get enough sleep or rest within 24 hours to recover their mental and physical strength. Therefore, they should stay in bed completely. You can sit up and get out of bed the next day; Older women get up 32 hours after delivery. The frequency, range and time of getting out of bed should be gradually increased with the postnatal day. Within 2 ~10 days after delivery, you can get out of bed, wash and dress, eat and defecate; After delivery10 ~ 20 days, you should take care of your daily life; After 20 days after delivery, you can get out of bed and walk slowly, exercise your bones and muscles, and dredge your blood. If you have always been physically strong and have a natural birth, get out of bed and move, the time for walking can be advanced as appropriate. Rest until the full moon, then you can do light housework and take care of the baby. After 6 ~ 8 weeks' rest, you can take part in your daily work. Cesarean section rest10 ~12 weeks, you can engage in general work.
If the parturient has trauma, infection, dystocia, surgery and other complications, the time and scope of rest and activities should be increased or decreased according to the specific situation, or rest under the guidance of a doctor. When the wound and infection are controlled, you should get out of bed and exercise on time, but the time and scope of activities should be reduced compared with that of normal parturient. If it is difficult to get out of bed, you should also turn over in bed, or do leg lifts and sit and lie down.
Now some people advocate doing some postpartum gymnastics from the second day of the puerperium to facilitate the rejuvenation of various organs. Early moderate exercise will not cause adverse side effects. Simple bed rest is harmful to lying-in women.
(3) Try to avoid washing your hair, taking a bath and brushing your teeth when you are confinement. In the second month, due to the exuberant skin excretion function of parturient, sweating more, breast swelling often leads to milk outflow, and vaginal lochia is discharged, and several smells are mixed together, which is very unpleasant, so postpartum should pay more attention to hygiene to keep the whole body and perineum clean and prevent mastitis and endometritis. Generally speaking, you can brush your teeth, rinse your mouth, wash your hair and wash your feet with warm water as usual after delivery. However, the maternal body is very weak in the month, so pay attention to the season when taking a bath. In summer, you can take a bath 2 ~ 3 days after delivery, but you should take a shower instead of a tub bath to avoid sewage entering the vagina and causing infection. The bath time should not be too long,15 ~ 20 minutes, and the water temperature is 34 ~ 36℃; Don't be on an empty stomach to avoid hypoglycemia. If you are in winter, you should only wipe your body with a clean towel or warm water. It is best not to take a bath to prevent cold weather from causing colds. A large number of facts have proved that the blood pressure of postpartum bathing women is stable, and their body temperature fluctuates but soon returns to normal, which has no effect on uterine contraction and lochia discharge, and also promotes lactation. After bathing, 80% ~ 90% of parturients are rosy, refreshed and have a good sleep, which is conducive to the recovery of physical health.
You can also brush your teeth as usual during the month to protect the health of your teeth. Some people think that you can't brush your teeth in the month, which is wrong. Postpartum oral cavity is still a portal of human body. Bacteria stay in throat, teeth and other parts, which will bring out bacteria when talking and breathing. After delivery, you need adequate nutrition, and the number of meals will increase. If you don't brush your teeth, food residue after eating will remain on the surface and between the teeth, corroding and destroying the enamel on the tooth surface, and bacteria in the oral cavity will take the opportunity to multiply, which will cause dental caries, periodontitis and pulpitis. Therefore, you should brush your teeth 1 time every morning and evening after delivery, and rinse your mouth after each meal.
"confinement" must pay attention to scientific nursing, so that the maternal body can recover as soon as possible, and the mother and baby can be healthy.
3. How does postpartum mother feel?
What do postpartum women eat? This is a big problem. If a mother eats well and can keep up with nutrition, she can secrete milk and let her baby grow up healthily. Many family members all put their minds into eating and prepared many nutritious foods for the parturient. However, some family members lack the knowledge of postpartum care, and the foods chosen for the parturient are not suitable, even counterproductive. So what should a woman eat?
5 ~ 7 days after delivery, due to the weak digestive ability of the parturient, rice porridge, soft noodles and egg soup should be the main food, and excessive greasy food, such as pig's trotters and hens, should not be eaten. After 7 days, with the recovery of digestive ability, you can eat high-calorie and nutritious food, such as fish, meat, chicken, steamed stuffed bun, dumplings and so on. Can be adjusted according to personal taste. But don't be full, and you can eat more meals a day within 1 month after delivery. From a medical point of view, there is no need to avoid food after delivery, but it should be noted that you should not eat spicy and warm things, such as pepper, garlic, wine, fennel, etc., so as not to cause constipation or hemorrhoids. Don't eat cold and hard things, so as not to damage the spleen and stomach and affect the digestive function. Others think that pregnant women should not eat seafood, otherwise it will cause inflammation of perineal incision or abdominal incision. In fact, if you were not allergic to seafood in the past, you can eat it after childbirth. Only a few people have allergic reactions to seafood. Seafood is a kind of high-protein food. Proper consumption after delivery is beneficial to the recovery of health and the healing of wounds. If you have a history of allergies before, you'd better not eat seafood such as shrimp, crabs and seashells until the wound heals.
Others believe that eating brown sugar and drinking yellow wine after delivery will accelerate the recovery of health. Brown sugar and yellow rice wine are really helpful to the recovery of maternal health, but they should be moderate. Brown sugar is crude sugar that has not been purified, and it has two functions: on the one hand, it contains rich nutrients, such as iron, calcium and carotene, and has the functions of enriching blood and promoting blood circulation; On the other hand, it contains a lot of glucose, which can supply energy for parturient and make the uterus regress as soon as possible; It can also induce diuresis, which is conducive to the elimination of water and harmful substances retained in the body as soon as possible. However, eating too much brown sugar can cause abdominal distension, loss of appetite and other symptoms, and may also cause digestive tract diseases such as diarrhea, so you can eat brown sugar after childbirth, but you don't have to eat it. When eating, you should pay attention to boiling it, filtering it, removing impurities and eating it in moderation.
Yellow rice wine, also known as rice wine, is the essence of Shui Gu. It is hot in nature and fierce in gas. If you drink it in a small amount after delivery, it can dispel wind and promote blood circulation, ward off evil spirits and drive away filth, which is conducive to the elimination of lochia and the contraction of uterus, and has the function of relaxing muscles and activating collaterals for catching cold after delivery. However, drinking yellow rice wine should be timely and appropriate, and excessive yellow rice wine can help the internal heat, which will cause the parturient to get angry and the mouth to get sore. Moreover, due to the internal heat of the mother, it can affect the baby through the milk, and it will also cause the baby to get internal heat. The appropriate drinking time is postpartum 1 week. Because it has the function of promoting blood circulation, drinking for too long can make lochia discharge too much or last for a long time, which is not conducive to the recovery of health.
To remind all mothers, you should take it easy to take supplements after delivery, as long as the nutrients you absorb can meet the health needs of mother and child. Uncontrolled tonic will deform your body. I can't go back to the beautiful past!
4. Teach you to cope with the unspeakable pain after childbirth
Postpartum constipation is really a headache for the parturient, because constipation not only brings pain to the parturient, but also often gives a "small gift"-hemorrhoids for free, which makes the unspeakable pain of the parturient worse.
Some parturients feel very strange. Why do they have constipation after giving birth? There are many reasons for puerperal constipation. For example, due to the changes of body endocrine after delivery, intestinal peristalsis is weakened, and because the puerperal abdominal wall is slack, the contractility is insufficient, plus postpartum blood loss, sweating, and less activity, the diet is often based on rice and flour, and the intake of vegetables, fruits and water is less, so puerperal constipation often occurs.
After the parturient has constipation, the feces stay in the intestine for a long time, and the water is absorbed by the intestine, which makes the stool dry and hard, and it is extremely difficult for the parturient to defecate. Seriously, it can cause anal fissure and hemorrhoids, which increases the pain of the parturient. Coupled with the pain caused by perineal laceration during childbirth, the parturient has a fear of defecation and is unwilling to defecate, thus forming a vicious circle.
Postpartum should first prevent constipation. For pregnant women with constipation before delivery, they should be encouraged to get out of bed early and do anal contraction exercise, and insist on1~ 2 times a day, each time for about 10 minutes; Drink plenty of water, you can mix sesame oil and honey with boiled water after getting up every morning, eat more cellulose-rich foods such as vegetables and fruits, and develop the habit of defecating regularly to form conditioned reflex.
If you have constipation after 2 ~ 3 days, you can plug your anus with Kaisailu or enema with soapy water.
One of the most direct side effects of postpartum constipation is that it is easy to cause hemorrhoids. But if we can take some measures, we can reduce the incidence of hemorrhoids.
① Eat a reasonable diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, especially foods rich in cellulose, and eat less spicy food to keep the stool smooth.
② Getting out of bed early after delivery is beneficial to the recovery of intestinal peristalsis and the smooth defecation, but you should not be overtired, which is also easy to induce hemorrhoids.
③ Develop a good habit of defecation. Regular defecation. If constipation occurs, appropriate measures should be taken, such as kaiselu plugging anus or taking Chinese medicine Runchang tablets.
④ Do anal contraction exercise twice a day, 20 ~ 50 times each time.
Once hemorrhoids occur, you can take a sitz bath with1:5000 potassium permanganate solution (warm) twice a day to promote blood circulation around the anus. After washing, dry it and apply hemorrhoid cream.
Postpartum constipation has brought infinite troubles to the parturient, so we must not treat it lightly. If the problem of maternal constipation is serious, you should go to the hospital for treatment, and ask the doctor to help you solve the pain, so that you can easily "sit on the moon" and be healthy and healthy as a mother!
5. Get back in shape from the "moon"
What women are most worried about is that they can't recover their figure after childbirth, so some women dare not eat too nutritious things when they are confinement, and some even ask doctors if they can take diet pills for confinement. In fact, the recovery after childbirth is not as difficult as you think. We will give you some suggestions to help you reproduce your slim and perfect figure.
After delivery, the maternal body often becomes bloated and obese, which annoys mothers. In fact, although postpartum body recovery will be affected by genetic factors, it also has a great relationship with diet and exercise.
If you want to recover well, you should pay attention to the following three points when "confinement":
① Sleep should be guaranteed during the puerperium, and sleep should be guaranteed for more than 10 hour every day. When people get enough sleep, they will become refreshed and radiant, which is conducive to the recovery of the body.
② The puerperal diet should be reasonably matched. If you eat improperly, it is easy to cause fat accumulation and obesity.
③ The clothes of lying-in women should be loose and comfortable. Because of the relaxation of abdominal wall, abdominal belt can be used, but the tightness should be moderate. The breasts should be held up with a loose bra to prevent sagging breasts.
The most important thing is to strengthen exercise. Don't think that you can exercise only after confinement. In fact, confinement is the best time to get back into shape. We will introduce you to a group of postpartum aerobics. As long as you can keep doing it, you will soon achieve satisfactory results.
① From 24 hours after delivery, lie on your back and take a deep breath in the abdomen, so that the abdominal wall rises and falls with breathing for 5 minutes every day.
(2) From the second day after delivery, lie on your back, lay your arms flat on both sides at right angles to your body, then put your elbows close to your chest, clap your hands, and then restore your position. Repeat 5 times.
③ From the 3rd day, lie on your back and bend your neck forward forcibly, so that your chin touches your chest and other parts of your body do not move. Repeat 10 times.
④ From the 3rd day, lie on your back and lift your legs in turn, first perpendicular to your body, and then slowly put them down, five times for each leg.
⑤ From the 8th day, lie on your back with your arms naturally placed at your side. Bend the right leg first, so that the thigh is as close to the abdomen as possible and the heel is as close to the hip as possible, then recover, and practice the left and right legs alternately for 5 times each.
⑥ From day 10, lie on your back with your legs straight. First, slowly close your feet, and your knees are close to each other and gradually bend to 90. Horn. Then lift your hips, support your body with your feet and shoulders, and hang in the air. At the same time, contract the abdominal and perineal muscles. Master the number of exercises according to physical strength.
⑦ From day 12, lie on your back with your knees flexed and your arms folded across your chest. Then slowly sit up in a semi-recumbent position, and then restore the position. You can also lie on your back, bend your knees, raise your arms straight, and do sit-ups. Practice times according to your ability.
Levator ani contraction movement. Lie on your back, thighs close together, arms crossed, try to lift your hips, and then relax. Continuous10 ~ 20 times, and then gradually increase. If you insist on exercise, it will help the recovery of pelvic floor muscle support.
However, before doing postpartum aerobics, it is best to let the doctor check it first, and then do it if the physical conditions permit, and pay attention to some problems when doing aerobics, so as not to be harmful to the body.
① We should start with light exercise and gradually increase the amount of exercise to match the recovery of physical strength.
2 Don't do it when you are in poor health and have a fever.
Don't do it immediately after eating.
④ You should urinate and defecate before doing exercises.
⑤ The parturient after cesarean section should start to do it after taking out stitches. People with vaginal and perineal incision or laceration should avoid actions to promote the recovery of pelvic floor muscles before the wound is recovered.
⑥ Doing exercises is limited to your body not being overtired.
⑦ For those who have separated rectus abdominis, do it after the upper abdominal belt.
⑧ Exercise should be persistent, and it can be effective only by daily persistence.
Pet-name ruby indoor air to fresh, happy mood. The indoor temperature is suitable, so it is advisable to exercise lightly.
Postpartum body recovery is a long-term process, as long as you can adhere to a reasonable diet. Scientific exercise can achieve good results. What young mothers need to pay attention to is that due to physical and other factors, there are often differences in the recovery of each person's body. Don't blindly compare, which will lead to depression and affect the health of mother and child. You should have confidence in yourself. Every mother in the world is the most beautiful!
6. Help you solve common postpartum diseases
Postpartum women often have some problems, big and small. Some women look down on some serious illnesses and think that there will be no problem in the past, and as a result, their health is threatened. There are also women who take some minor illnesses seriously and make a fuss when something happens, making themselves nervous and physically weak. In fact, every pregnant woman and her family should know something about some common problems after delivery, so as not to make themselves in a hurry.
(1) Discomfort that will be relieved gradually after delivery.
1 numbness in hands and feet. Postpartum edema, or postpartum fatigue can not be fully eliminated, sometimes there will be numbness in hands and feet. Occasionally, I will feel weak hands and heavy legs, and these symptoms will disappear with the recovery of my body.
② Muscle stiffness and pain. Maternal women should not only support the big belly during the whole pregnancy, but also consume a lot of calories during delivery. Maternal women often feel soreness and pain in the waist muscles. During the puerperium, premature and excessive activities and unaccustomed sitting and feeding are all causes of low back pain. Most postpartum patients can relieve themselves. If they can't relieve themselves for a long time, they should consult a doctor.
③ Headache and heavy head feeling. Maternal women with anemia and high blood pressure after delivery, who are overworked, have a bad rest, or have used anesthetics in cesarean section, sometimes feel headache or heavy head. If you get enough sleep and have a good rest, most of the symptoms can be alleviated, but you should consult a doctor when the symptoms are serious.
(2) Postpartum discomfort that needs to be prevented and treated.
Some parturients often feel wrist pain, which may be related to the frequent use of their hands. Although the parturient does not do heavy physical labor, it is easy to cause this disease by repeating a single labor for a long time, such as washing diapers in cold water, washing clothes and holding children. In addition, the fluctuation of endocrine hormones in maternal body may also be related to this disease.
Maternal women should pay attention to the reasonable arrangement of housework and try to avoid repetitive work for too long. When you feel sore and bloated in your wrist, you should pay attention to rest and massage your wrist alternately with both hands until the discomfort disappears. Then change to a different way of working. Don't wash with cold water for a long time in winter. Every time you wash, there is no feeling of acid swelling on your wrist after washing.
Once the lying-in woman has wrist pain, she should first avoid wrist activity and cold water stimulation, especially when the wrist is swollen. Topical hot compress can be used, or safflower oil can be applied to the affected area and gently rubbed, 4 ~ 6 times a day. If the above methods are ineffective or the symptoms are aggravated, block therapy can be used, and 5 mg of prednisolone plus 1% procaine 1 ~ 2 ml is injected intrathecally, once a week, * * * 2 ~ 3 times. Avoid excessive wrist movement during treatment. Most patients can be cured by intrathecal injection. Surgical treatment is feasible for a few patients with long course of disease, recurrent attacks or ineffective local blocking treatment.
(3) Problems that must be paid attention to after delivery.
Maternal postpartum anemia is most likely to occur. Don't think that anemia is nothing. It will make people weak, lose appetite, reduce people's resistance, easily lead to infection or slow healing of postpartum perineal incision. Severe anemia can cause chest tightness, palpitation, headache, etc., resulting in many complications, so it should be treated in time.
If it is only mild anemia, you can adjust your diet and eat more animal viscera, fish, shrimp, eggs, green leafy vegetables, cereals, peanuts, etc. However, if anemia is serious, you need to take medicine and blood transfusion if necessary.
For some common postpartum diseases. Maternal women should have a full understanding, neither let themselves drift, nor worry too much. If there is any doubt, you can also ask the doctor for advice, and they will give you a lot of health guidance.
7. Maternal dress is exquisite.
What to wear after childbirth? Many parturients are puzzled by this. It's wrong to wear too much, and it's not good to wear too little. What should we pay attention to in maternity clothes?
As mentioned above, we should not believe the saying of "covering the moon", and the clothes of pregnant women should be adjusted accordingly with the climate change of the four seasons.
In summer, the clothes and bedding of lying-in women should not be too thick, so they can wear cotton single clothes, pants and socks to avoid the wind. Bedding must be made of cotton towel products in order to absorb sweat and get rid of summer heat and dampness. If the clothes are sweaty, they should be replaced in time to prevent them from getting wet. This is the method that health care experts say: "When it is summer, it will be cool."
In winter, the bed clothes of lying-in women should be soft, the bed should be padded with thick mattress, the quilt should be soft and light, and the clothes should be cotton-padded clothes, down and the like, with thick cotton socks and cashmere socks on their feet. Lower limbs should be especially warm.
In the spring and autumn, the lying-in women's clothes and bedding are slightly thicker than ordinary people, so it is better to have no heat, and wear thin cotton socks.
Clothing for confinement should pay attention to the following points:
(1) Clothes should be spacious and comfortable. Some parturients are afraid of getting fat after childbirth, changing their body shape, or covering their already fat bodies with thin clothes, so they wear tight clothes, corset their chests or wear jeans, which are not conducive to smooth blood flow, especially when their breasts are oppressed, and they are prone to breast abscess. The correct way is to dress slightly wider, and it is better to wear cloth for personal clothes. Abdominal band can be properly tied to prevent the abdominal wall from sagging, which is also conducive to uterine recovery.
(2) Clothes should be moderately thick. Due to the decline of resistance after delivery, clothing should be increased or decreased according to seasonal changes. You don't have to wear long-sleeved clothes and trousers in hot weather, so don't be afraid to expose your limbs.
(3) Always change clothes. In particular, underwear should be washed and changed frequently, and shorts should be changed every day 10 to maintain hygiene and prevent infection.
(4) Shoes should be soft. It is better to wear cloth shoes, not hard-soled shoes, let alone leather shoes with heels, in case of postpartum sole, heel pain, or lower abdomen pain. In addition, don't go barefoot after delivery, barefoot will catch cold, which is not good for your health.
(5) You can also wear a bra after delivery. Breast-feeding women's breasts are significantly larger than those of non-pregnant women. Wearing a bra plays a great role in preventing excessive sagging of breasts, and can also reduce or eliminate the feeling of discomfort when walking. The bra also has the function of protecting the nipple, which can prevent bacteria from polluting the nipple, reduce or avoid the friction between clothes and the nipple, and prevent the nipple from pain, bleeding or rupture. Wearing a bra during lactation is of great benefit to health and bodybuilding.
Wearing a bra during lactation is different from wearing a bra during non-pregnancy In this period, it is only required to support the breast. Don't be too tight. Too tight will easily lead to milk deposition, mastitis, and chest oppression, which will affect thoracic movement.
Postpartum clothes have a great influence on the health of the parturient, so the parturient should never dress indiscriminately. The parturient who loves beauty should pay attention to the fact that the most important thing in postpartum clothes is comfort, not beauty. Never choose clothes that are too tight, so as not to bring adverse effects to the body.
8. Self-care of postpartum lochia
After delivery, there is always lochia, which is a normal postpartum phenomenon. Lochia can be discharged in about three weeks, but if it continues for more than 20 days, it is abnormal lochia. At this time, some preventive measures should be taken.
(1) Diet and rest. If postpartum lochia continues to drip, it is still unclean for more than 20 days, with a large amount, reddish color, thin quality and no odor, and the parturient feels tired and weak, lazy to speak, and her abdomen is empty. These manifestations show that the parturient is weak, and the vitality can't fix the essence and blood, so that the lochia is dripping and unclean, and it is overdue. In this case, besides actively seeking medical treatment, you should also cooperate with diet therapy to ensure adequate rest.
Dietotherapy should choose medicinal diets that strengthen the spleen and replenish qi, such as Huai medicinal porridge, red bean porridge, Euryale ferox porridge, ginseng porridge, ginseng yam black chicken soup and so on.
If you are weak and have too much lochia, you should definitely stay in bed and minimize your activities.
Weak body, the most vulnerable to disease and evil. The maternal bedroom should be kept clean and tidy, and the room should be cool and ventilated in summer to prevent the maternal from sweating too much. There must be no draught, in case of wind, cold and dampness. Keep warm in winter. The temperature in spring and autumn is dry and dusty, so it is advisable to sweep indoors frequently, and you can buy a basin of clear water to avoid wind and dryness.
(2) Pay attention to diet and hygiene. If the maternal body is strong, the amount of postpartum lochia is large, it is not clean after expiration, the color is bright or purple, the quality is sticky, it smells bad, and it is self-conscious, dry mouth and throat, which belongs to the phenomenon that blood is hot. In this case, in addition to seeking medical advice, we should pay special attention to diet, cleanliness and hygiene, and prevent the invasion of heat evil. The puerpera's yang is strong, her blood gas is hot, and her diet should be light. She should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as pears, oranges, grapefruit and apples, and wash them and cut them into pieces to cook hot and warm food. Vegetables should eat more radish, spinach, lotus root, wax gourd, towel gourd, etc., and often eat winter amaranth porridge, lotus root juice porridge, green radish porridge, etc. Drink plenty of water and avoid spicy, fried and greasy products.
Pathogenic heat causes lochia, so we should pay attention to the recurrence of heat evil. Keep the room clean, cool and ventilated, avoid too many visits from relatives and friends, keep the vulva clean and change underwear frequently.
(3) Medication and mental recuperation. Postpartum lochia is constantly dripping, astringent and uncomfortable, with a small amount, dark red color, and blood clots, and the lower abdomen refuses to press it, which aggravates the pain. This situation mostly belongs to the accumulation of blood stasis in the uterus, which causes lochia to expire. In this case, in addition to medication, women should pay special attention to mental recuperation, followed by taking simple prescriptions.
Maternal women should not be too sad and sad, too thoughtful and overworked, depressed but not sparse, and depressed liver-qi. Family members should avoid all language in front of the parturient. If the parturient has something difficult to understand, they should be more enlightened and comforted, and the parturient should exercise restraint. In addition, 50 grams of motherwort can be used, decocted with water, and appropriate amount of brown sugar can be added. One dose a day, three times, for a week.

9. Postpartum contraception guide
Couples can resume their sexual life 6 ~ 8 weeks after delivery, but when and how to do postpartum contraception? Only by solving this problem can couples rekindle their passion and return to the sweet days of the past.
Some people try to prevent pregnancy by prolonging lactation, because under normal circumstances, the menstrual cycle can be naturally suspended by inhibiting pituitary gland secretion and ovulation during lactation. But this role is not absolute. Once a woman resumes her sexual life after childbirth, she should insist on contraception. Never extend breastfeeding to achieve the purpose of contraception. This is very unreliable.
So what method is used for contraception during lactation? If you are breastfeeding, you can't take birth control pills, because after taking birth control pills, you can't provide enough milk for your baby, and drug hormones will enter your baby through breastfeeding, which will bring adverse effects to your baby. It is recommended that you use contraceptive tools, which is safe and has no side effects. Commonly used contraceptives include condoms, vaginal septum and intrauterine devices. The intrauterine device (IUD) has become the most widely used and popular female contraceptive device in China because of its convenient use and good effect. Generally, intrauterine devices can be placed after menstruation for 3 months after delivery.
In recent years, the rate of cesarean section has obviously increased, so that the contraceptive problem of women after cesarean section has become the focus of everyone's attention. Women who have had cesarean section have left permanent scars on their uterus. If they are pregnant again and have induced abortion, they are prone to embryo leakage or uterine perforation, causing irreparable losses to women. Therefore, women after cesarean section should pay more attention to contraception.
What method of contraception after cesarean section can be decided according to the physical condition of the parturient and whether to breastfeed.
Non-breast-feeding people can choose contraceptive drugs (long-acting and short-acting) or tools (condoms, etc.), and contraceptive drugs should be applied under the guidance of doctors to prevent failure. Postpartum breast-feeding, mainly take contraceptive tools, because oral contraceptives can re-regulate the hormone level in the body and affect lactation, so oral contraceptives are not advocated.
Six months after cesarean section, whether breastfeeding or not, you can take long-term contraceptive methods such as placing intrauterine devices.
At present, a new contraceptive needle, Depo-Provera 150, is a long-acting contraceptive needle. One injection can be used for contraception for 3 months. According to the results of clinical research, it will not affect the quality of maternal milk or the growth and development of children. You may wish to try it out.
If you don't want to get pregnant in a short time after delivery, you should do a good job of contraception. It is best to ask a doctor to recommend a contraceptive method suitable for you according to your own situation, so that you can enjoy the sweetness of love from now on.
