About Zhao Jiping:
In 1970, he was assigned to work at the Shaanxi Opera Research Institute. 1978, he entered the Central Conservatory of Music for further study. 1979, he composed an orchestral work entitled "Sketches of Shaanan, South China". 1984, he composed the music for the first film directed by Chen Kaige entitled "The Yellow Earth," which led to the creation of the music for film and television. 1987, he composed the music for the movie "The Yellow Earth.
