On September 18, the Ministry of Commerce received the centralized anti-monopoly declaration materials for Coca-Cola Company to acquire the operators of China Huiyuan Company. 1October 20, 165438, the Ministry of Commerce officially put on file for review, and on February 20, 2002, 12 decided to conduct further review on the basis of preliminary review. During this process, Coca-Cola Company submitted a preliminary solution and its modification scheme with additional restrictive conditions. However, after evaluation, the Ministry of Commerce believes that these schemes still cannot effectively reduce the adverse impact on competition. Accordingly, according to the provisions of Article 28 of the Anti-Monopoly Law, the Ministry of Commerce officially announced that Coca-Cola was prohibited from purchasing Huiyuan.
