This method is the most direct and thorough method to remove the sediment from scallops. After the frozen scallops are thawed, put the scallops in the boiling water pot, cover the pot, take them out after one minute, then rinse them with water, thoroughly wash the mud in the scallops and drain the water for later use. Sediment can be removed without reservation by this method.
Second, the method of cleaning the sediment of fresh scallops:
1. Soak in sesame oil and salt water:
If time permits, you can soak scallops in water with sesame oil and salt. One thing to pay attention to in this method is the temperature of the water, which is preferably 2 degrees. If you use tap water directly, the water temperature is low and scallops don't like to open their mouths. Soak in this way for 2-3 hours, and scallops will spit out a lot of sediment.
2. Shake it back and forth:
Find a bigger basin or box with a lid, put the scallops in it, pour a little water, and then shake the container back and forth with your hands, moderately, not too much. After shaking for two minutes, the scallop will faint and spit out a lot of sediment. Wash it with water and shake it again, and repeat it for three times.
