The origin of coffee beans in Kaddoura
Kaddoura is a natural variety of bourbon, which is further developed and widely planted by IAC Coffee Center of Sao Paulo Agricultural Research Institute, Brazil. From 19 15 to 19 18, it was found in a plantation in minas gerais, Brazil.
Sometimes called dwarf varieties or semi-dwarf varieties, its popularity is mainly due to the convenience of manual harvesting. Kaddoura was introduced from Brazil in the 1960s, and now accounts for 45% to 50% of Colombia's output, which has replaced the earliest Tibica. Kaddoura's Caturra is a natural blend of bourbon.
