Every autumn, indoor and outdoor ornaments of every household should be replaced. The first Sunday in October is Thanksgiving here, and the last day in October is Halloween. Someone asked about the similarities between the two festivals, and the answer was: pumpkin.
I experienced Halloween when I first came to Germany in the early 1990s. I thought Thanksgiving and Halloween were the same, but German and English names were different. It turns out that Halloween originated in America in the early 1990s. Many post-90s people are as confused about these two festivals as I am an outsider.
For most people, appearance is a form, and children are busy. In the autumn harvest season, it is indispensable to make a fresh cream pumpkin soup. Under the contrast of autumn ornaments, the festive atmosphere is full. After Thanksgiving, children are busy preparing Halloween costumes and festivals.
There is a children's activity room about 50 square meters underground in our house, equipped with a sofa and a bed that can sleep 10 children for children's parties. The child must get the mother's consent before. Please do not exceed 10 children, with 5 indicators for each child. On Halloween, I prepared dinner for the children. After dinner, they chattered, changed clothes and put on makeup, and became a group of kids, flocking out and begging for candy separately.
Our family has also prepared a lot of sweets and chocolates, and people who come to beg for sweets can have about 20 waves one after another. They all rang the bell and I opened the door. They: sü sse oder Saures-sweet or sour (sour = angry) (Trick or Treat in English)? Me: Of course it's sweet! Separate this bag of sweets.
Once my son Naber just went out for a while and came back panting with laughter. I want to know what happened. A child told me that they rang the doorbell and it was an old man who opened the door. As soon as the old man appeared, the children laughed one after another. As a result, the old people were teased, not given candy, but also scolded them. I was surprised: then what are you laughing at? The children said noisily: The old man looks like a character in an animated cartoon. . . My brain made up the scene. The poor old man happily opened the door and prepared to give candy to five or six children aged five or six. As a result, I saw the children laughing there. I smiled (it didn't happen to me): you are so disrespectful. Everyone will be scolded for doing so. Write an apology letter quickly and put it in that mailbox!
After that, the children came back on time before 10, and sharing candy became lively. Plus, they told each other about their experiences tonight, so they had to be busy until 12. I went to urge them to rest and get up on time for breakfast the next day 10.
Thanksgiving Day is a traditional festival with a history of more than 2,000 years. It not only celebrates the harvest, thanks God that people's labor is not wasted by natural disasters and insects, but also reminds us that all the good things we get are not taken for granted. To be grateful, the biggest beneficiary is yourself, because gratitude can make people feel lucky and happy. People (including family members) should not only say thank you to show politeness, but also think about what they are. I am afraid of the word "by hook or by crook". I used to be confused about the meaning of this word. It's really hard to give up others' difficulties, let alone let others try their best for me. Since I can't let others benefit from me, how can I be shameless enough to let others stab me? Why should I do something reckless and immoral and then let my friends die for me?
I am grateful that I live in peacetime!
