2. Prepare an ordinary napkin;
3. Drop a few drops of red wine on the napkin, and the wine will spread evenly without settling in the middle;
4. Drop the edible alkali mixed with water on the red wine;
At this time, something magical happened. If red wine turns dark blue, it is really red wine. If there is no response, it is false.
Warm reminder
Because red grapes are colored natural anthocyanins, they are purple-red under acidic conditions and blue-green under alkaline conditions, which are also the color characteristics of many natural pigments. If the pigments are mixed, the color will not change.
Put a white napkin on the table and drop a few drops of red wine. It will spread evenly. This is the real wine. That's because the fake red wine pigment particles are large, which will precipitate in the middle of the paper towel, and only the water marks will spread outward.
Fake wines on the market are basically blended with pigments, so this method has almost reached 99.9%. Then why not 100%? That is to say, it is also possible that if a fake red grape uses grape skin pigment or other pigments that can change color due to different pH values, it will not be detected, but this method is not low in cost and troublesome.
So at least we can know that if our red wine is not decolorized with edible alkali, it must be fake, there is no doubt about it.
