Changed by Yuan Shikai.
After the Revolution of 1911, Yuan Shikai stole the fruits of the revolution and became the president of the Republic of China. One day, when he was walking on the street, he heard a Yuanxiao vendor shouting in a long voice: "Hey! Selling Yuanxiao - Selling Yuanxiao." He was shocked: Isn't "Yuanxiao" the same as "Yuan Xiao"? That’s okay! So he angrily ordered that all those selling "Yuanxiao" in Beijing should be arrested. From now on, they were no longer allowed to sell "Yuanxiao" and all sold "Tangyuan" instead.
