Gala/Bila apple, also known as Jialiguo, is a kind of apple. It is a hybrid of orange apple and marshal. It is native to New Zealand and is characterized by bright fruit color, golden flesh, sweet and sour taste.
Gala apple was planted in a large area in China after its introduction, and gradually became the main variety of early-maturing apples in China.
The fruit is of medium size, with single fruit weight 100-200g, short cone shape and golden surface. The male facial mask is pale blush, with red intermittent wide stripes, and the fruit shape is correct and beautiful. The top of the fruit is pentagonal, the stalk is slender, and the peel is thin and shiny. The flesh is light yellow, dense, crisp, juicy, sweet and slightly sour, which is very palatable. Excellent quality, not resistant to storage. Young trees bear early fruit, high fruit setting rate, high and stable yield and easy management.
