There are about 2,000 known species of marine fish in China, including hairtail, large yellow croaker, giant salamander, pomfret, mackerel, mackerel, mackerel, mackerel and shad. The marine fish fauna in China's offshore areas can be divided into five zones:
① Bohai Sea and North Yellow Sea are divided into zones, with warm-temperate fish as the main species.
② The South Yellow Sea and the East China Sea are divided into offshore areas, mainly warm-water fish.
③ The offshore area of the East China Sea is located in the sea area where the Kuroshio trunk flows, mainly warm-water fish.
④ The coastal zones of the South China Sea are mainly warm-water fishes.
⑤ The offshore areas of the South China Sea are mostly tropical coral reef fish, with a total of nearly 1,000 species.
Generally, it can be divided into two categories: primary and secondary. The former, such as cypriniformes, and the latter, such as Lycopodidae and other fish that enter fresh water from the ocean, are more tolerant to brackish water environment. There are more than 1000 species of freshwater fish in China, and the freshwater fish fauna in China can be divided into five divisions:
① The northern foothills are divided into zones, where cold-water fish are distributed, such as fennel fish, pike fish, haddock fish and dufu fish.
② The West China Plateau is divided into cold-water and terrestrial fishes, such as loach and perch of CYPRINIDAE.
(3) Ningmeng division, mainly cold-temperate and archaic fish, such as stickleback and yarrow fish.
④ Rivers and plains are divided into warm-water and still-water fishes, such as most species of Myxocyprinidae and Cyprinidae.
⑤ South China is mainly divided into warm-water and fast-flowing fish in the south, such as the subfamily Cyprinidae and the family Lepidopteridae.
The inland waters of China are not only rich in CYPRINIDAE, but also have excellent cultured fish such as Megalobrama amblycephala, the famous "Four Big Fish" (black carp, grass carp, silver carp, bighead carp) and shad. In most areas, the climate is mild, the water surface is numerous, and sufficient rainfall is the superior condition for developing freshwater fish culture.
Extended data:
The existing fish are widely distributed in the world, and there are traces in the alpine waters of nearly 4000 meters and the deep sea of more than 6000 meters, among which the ratio of species of marine fish to freshwater fish is 2∶ 1.
About 80% of them are distributed in the shallow continental shelf area, especially in the tropical and subtropical areas of the Indian Ocean-Pacific Ocean. Isotherms have a great relationship with the distribution of marine fish. The main economic fish distributed in cold zone and sub-cold zone are herring, cod, salmon, sole and mackerel. Sardines, roebuck and mackerel are mainly distributed in subtropical waters. In tropical and subtropical waters, tuna is distributed.
There are many factors affecting the geographical distribution of fish, including salinity, temperature, water depth, current, oxygen content, nutrients, light, bottom sediment, food resources and food chain structure, as well as historical land-sea changes.
