Shantou beef balls, also known as hand-pounded beef balls, are one of the most famous traditional snacks in Chaoshan, Guangdong. They originated from Chaozhou cuisine and have a history of nearly a hundred years in Shantou. They are famous for being soft, moist, fresh and refreshing. Its production technique originated from the official court dish "Daozhen" more than 2,000 years ago, which has been circulated in Chaoshan area for nearly a hundred years.
2. Crispy crab box
Crispy crab box is the traditional name of Shantou, Guangdong Province, which belongs to Cantonese cuisine. Golden color, crisp filling. Cut pork, crab meat, shrimp, mushrooms and water chestnut into fine particles, stir well with starch water, stir in a wok, and add salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, sesame oil and wet starch (a little) to make stuffing.

Glutinous rice pig intestines is a traditional folk snack with local characteristics in Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, with a long history. This dish is made from the famous first-class goose with lion's head in Chaoshan, and pickled with soy sauce, rock sugar, cinnamon, Amomum villosum, cardamom, star anise, southern ginger, yellow wine, garlic and mushrooms. Therefore, the stewed lion-headed goose in Chaoshan has a long history.
5. Fish balls
Fish balls, also known as "fish wrapped meat", are meatballs made of eel, shark or freshwater fish, mixed with sweet potato powder (starch), and then wrapped with lean pork or shrimp. They are one of the snacks with coastal characteristics.
