The sandpiper (Odontobutis obscurus) belongs to the order Perciformes, suborder Gobiidae, family Channaeidae, genus Sandpiper. Sand snakeheads are also known as four unimaginative, meat lying cone, dull fish, scaly toadfish, dull fish, tupelo fish, tiger sharks, Peach Ba Zhi, body stout, head large and broad, slightly flattened, rounded abdomen, posterior lateral compression. The sand snakehead likes to live in the river gully and lake near the shore of more water grass, rubble, stone gap, mud and sand bottom. Swimming power is weak. Winter lurking in the water layer deeper or under the stone over winter, to shrimp, small fish as the main food.
