Xinyang Maojian Tea Xinyang Maojian Tea is also called "Henan Mao Feng". Xinyang Maojian tea is mainly produced in the deep mountainous areas such as Dongjiahe, Shihegang and Wujiadian in the west of Xinyang County, and in the shallow mountainous areas and some high mountainous areas such as Dongshuanghe, Liulin, Lijiazhai, Tanjiahe, Shiliqiao and Pingqiao Town in the south. Since 1960s, it has developed in Wulidian, Pengjiawan, Youhe in the middle and Gaoliangdian, Wanggang and Jixing in the northwest. 1in the spring of 967, the scientific and technical personnel of the Agricultural Bureau guided the tea seeds to cross the hill 25 miles north of Huaihe River, and established the Hongqi Tea Farm (changed to the tea seed farm in 1985), which was the first time for tea trees to cross the Huaihe River in the north. At present, several towns and villages in Huaibei have planted more than 2,000 mu of tea, with an annual output of more than 20,000 kilograms of Maojian. Authentic Xinyang Maojian tea producing areas, besides Xinyang County, also include Xinyang City (built by Xinyang County in the middle of the county in 1950s) and the three towns of Segang, Pengxin and Qingshan adjacent to Lingshan in the south of luoshan county. This point was confirmed when the country bought and sold tea in the early days of liberation. Since 1980s, the production of Xinyang Maojian tea has been popularized in the whole city.
