Materials
2 cups all-purpose flour; 1 tablespoon dry yeast; about 1 cup warm water; about 1 cup sesame paste; about 1/3 cup sugar; about 1/2 cup oil
How to Make Sesame Sauce Rolls
1. Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water, and pour it into the flour several times, stirring the flour into a paste with chopsticks, and kneading it with your hands until it turns into a three-light paste. Cover the dough with a piece of wrung out wet saran wrap and place in the oven to rise, turning on the oven light. (This process takes about 1-2 hours.)
2. Thin the sesame paste with about 1/3 cup of oil, add 1/4 cup of sugar and mix well.
3. Remove the dough from the oven and knead about 100 times on a floured surface. Take 1/4 of the dough and shape it into a pancake. Spread a little oil on it
4. Spread the sesame paste on it
5. Sprinkle a small spoonful of sugar on it
6. Starting from one side of the pancake, roll it up to form a thin strip and pinch it tightly on the ends and the edges
7. Cut it into 12 segments
8. Take a small piece of the pancake and pinch the ends between your thumb and forefinger to gently stretch it out
9.
9: Take the second section and fold it over the first section, stretching the two pieces together
10: With your left hand inside and your right hand outside, twist it
11: Twist it for about 1 1/2 turns
12: Bring the two ends together
13: Lay out dampened coffee filters on a drawer, place the rolls and let them rest for about 15 minutes (for the second fermentation)
14: Place the steamer on the top of the steamer. p>14: Bring a steamer to a boil, place the rolls on top, and steam over high heat for about 15 minutes
